HubPages Adsense Earnings Tips from one newbie to another newbie

Hi there and welcome to HubPages. I'm also still fairly new here as joined just 8 days ago. In that time I've had 12 hubs published, which have been viewed a little over 350 times, and I earned R43 from Adsense for them in the first 7 days - nothing today, so far.

I'm speaking about South African rands. In pounds I guess that's about 3 and a half pounds, and in US dollars about 5 and a half dollars.

However, no ads will be clicked if I get no visitors to my hubs, and it may even be that a week or so passes and I won't get any clicks. A person viewing a hub may just want to read it and not want to click any ads. One can't read the mind of somebody who visits your hub.

There is a share button at the bottom of your hub, that you can use to share the link to your hub on various social or bookmarking sites. Join a few of these places, write interesting hubs, repeating your main keyword or keywords a few times (but not too many times) or use synonyms of those words, use the tag facility, use the share button, and don't give up!
